Многие годы я использовал IRC (а именно сеть RusNet) для общения с друзьями. Увы, всё хорошее рано или поздно заканчивается. Нынешний RusNet — это гнусное место с отвратительным сервисом и устаревшими технологиями (однобайтовые кодировки чего стоят).

Пользуясь случаем, передаю пламенный привет IRCop'ам. Если вы делаете бесплатный сервис — это не оправдание для того, чтобы делать этот сервис настолько плохим.

В общем, «нас всех тошнит». Канал #kastaneda постепенно мигрирует.
Скорее всего, новое место обитания — это banda@conference.jabber.org. Да, это больше не IRC.
